The night is nigh
illuminated by a titian sky A burning star blazed the heavens afar I saw the sky flash for a split second It brought to life my lonely weekend And the God's laughed violently as the rain cried bitterly, then silently The prophet proclaimed Don't look up, for here's the end Where would I look to then? I had no friends My dreams enclasped a different scene a field of wild flowers and an ocean breeze the sound of laughter flooded my mind just a few more memories I had left behind And the world exploded in hues of red the soil beneath my feet hurled over my head I endured every sort of pain yet I felt nothing still The lights turned off, for it's calamities will
