You’re the death of a star

Expanding across galaxies 

Making asteroids bleed

Galactic tragedies 

 

When your light is extinguished 

you’re the most beautiful disaster 

Your apologetic void

comes to seek me after 

 

I seep into your space 

In the dark between the grey

Hoping there’s a sun on the other side 

That can burn my soul away

 

Dissociate me into your black hole

you’re a heavy sip of antimatter 

Drunk on your destructive mind

chase you down because nothing matters

At one level this seems to be an allegoric love poem but its title suggests in describes feelings of meaningless existence that the nihilist finds attractive. Nicely written in a flowing free verse. Love the opening stanza!
