New Years ResoultionA Poem by KeeDBarcadi creased my lips I gulped down that final sip I'm a pretty nervous guy In your presence even more nervously shy I usually spend my New Years Eve petrified by the belief That I'd be asked to dance soon so I hide away in the corner of some room There you were igniting the floor the crowd worshipped you, they begged for more Wearing that firey red dress Sparking hearts you please to impress You're refined, sophisticated, divine To the intricate rhythm of jazz, you move your spine To the beat of western music, you move with such class Then the Bollywood came on and you start to shake that a*s The dance floor in shock, nobody can compete somewhere out there in a Tesla factory, they want to replicate your feet You make me feel electric, just sitting here in awe I've got to put myself back together because the floor now owns my jaw There is no perfect end to a story that never had a chance My confidence rend, unable to ask you to dance So here's my New Years resolution, I'm going to stop being shy Next year when you ask, "anybody wants to dance?" I'm your guy
