Bonfires RevisitedA Poem by KeeDBonfires Revisited
I wish to travel back to that night Where
the ocean screams Of a love that blossomed alive The
waves they capture a picture of us Dazed by the moons spell We sit
on the beach reminiscing for hours Bonfires take me back there
To
wishing on a shooting star For time to stand still forever this hour So you
and I could drink in each other’s eyes And life like a breeze would just float us by When
the sky and the sea meet in the distance Love just flows between us absent resistance Fireflies
illuminate the feelings we share Bonfires take me back there
Where
we sit close to the fire And the flames reveal our desires Clarity
in our minds as our lips intertwine And the sound of our kiss resonates An
electric feel through time and space Where the sand slips underneath our palms When we
reach to embrace each other in our arms Bonfires take me back there...
...Where
love lasts forever
