Dear Heartless

Dear Heartless

A Poem by KeeD

Dear Heartless

F**k you

For coming into my life

Pretending to be someone else

Hiding your true identity in a web of lies

The tide turned its back on me

The moon couldn't handle my grief

The sun burned my soul

I have never been so torn and ripped apart

I hurt a little less now that it has all been put behind

Somewhere buried in my throat though is a f**k you

The sand doesn't stick to my feet

The grass isn't quite so green

The house feels incomplete

Dear Heartless

I have said my share of goodbyes

But my heart had a final sigh before it moved on

F**k you and so long

incredible write....the very pathos of heartache & betrayal...something
I'm only too familiar with as well...as most people are.

love the unique, compelling imagery incorporated in this write & brilliantly
structured with amazing use of language. & not just the "f**k you" bits,
either.

Thank you for sharing - namaste - xo (:

sometimes it just needs to be said...expletive-ly!

or that bruise in the throat will continue to linger.
