Lifeline

Lifeline

A Poem by KeeD

O'my restless heart

In time you and I did part

The beat of love grew thinner still

Could our relationship grow more ill

It bled red with every beat

The conclusion of when one cheats

No transfusion could save me then

Left for dead by you my friend

Reanimated from the dead

Far from love my heart once bled

Cynical I grew a bitter taste

My life now slowly starts to waste

Medic of words your healing voice

Helped me break my initial choice

To live in the dark where life was grey

Now from you I learn to love again someday
