The extension of my mind is the pen

Freedom to act on what is now and what was then

Violence shall be silenced by words

No longer shall I feel the need to fear

 

To speak is to bleed

Well I’ll bleed my opinion

For it is mine alone to speak

Under bullets my paper undeterred

 

You can hurt the artist’s heart

But you cannot break his will

In the face of terror

We stand together
