Tale of Thorns

Tale of Thorns

A Chapter by KeeD

A lone balloon flies over the fence
The last train departs for its destination
By the tracks lay a field of roses
Soaking in the suns warmth silently

Goodbyes are never easy
A wild rose knows the sadness of beauty
To be held without delivering pain
Would she ever see her boy again

The trail of tears still cover the tracks
It is a time such as this she wishes her sanity back
Picking a rose she's escorted towards the gate
The asylum now holds her fate
