The boy who sits there alone

The boy who sits there alone

A Chapter by KeeD

He sits there with his long black hair
Sheltering his face from their stares
An outsider to a world uninvited
He struggles to deal day after day
hoping he could just fade away

They notice him, two boys with a motive
In plain sight they're normal adolescents
but they have far sinister plans
Creating a pseudo image of acceptance
they talk to him on a social platform

Surprised and excited he accepts her request
She's from a different school but with him she's impressed
They talk everyday for hours at end
Sharing conversations about issues, love and having no friends
Slowly eating out the palm of her hand he becomes her man

Talking all day, you can see the change in his eyes
His lips look different, never knew he had a smile
the boys now know how he's caught in their web
the entire mission is to put him to shame
they go even lower by continuing this devious game

she asks him for a nude picture of his body
the boys send him one of her from the Google search lobby
he's so infatuated by this new intimate friendship
that he slowly gives in to all her requests
takes a picture of his body, hits send and hopes for the best

Goes to school next day and he notices the stares
But they are followed with laughter and judgmental glares
phones keep beeping and the laughter grows louder
He wonders what the commotion is all about
You're sick and disgusting, a girl shows him the picture

His throat chokes up and eyes fill with tears
Why would she do that, he texts her with fear
There's no reply, her profile is closed
All of his love and emotions openly exposed
He's sinking even deeper into the abyss

Forever will he be the boy who sits alone
Turns the volume up in his room, it's his favorite song
His sister demands that he turn the volume down
There's no reply, she wonders whats wrong
Runs up and opens his room door as she falls crying to the floor

Hanging from the ceiling fan is the brother she never knew
She runs underneath him and lifts him on her shoulders
Her weak arms shaking as she screams in shock
finally being able to bring him down
she holds him in her arms as his heart beats no more
