You're a million miles away

If you didn't have to work I'd ask you to stay

Its 2 in the afternoon I'm still awake

All I do is think about you

Till my sleepless eyes are dark and blue

You're oceans away in a place called America

I'm mountains away, just boy from India

This feeling in my heart its got me elevated

This strange feeling I feel our hearts connected

I look outside my window and see the sun shine bright

All I can think about is how you're sleeping tonight

The world doesn't stop around me everything's buzzing

My minds frozen in time because of your loving

I'm alone in this place thinking of you babygirl

for when you wakes up your my Queen my world

Is what i'm going through some sort of a dream

Or am I drinking this love out of our lifestream

You're going to be a doctor some day that's for sure

Helping people saving lives only makes me love you more

You always love me unconditionally

Making me feel like a beautiful tree

That gives shelter and shade and nurtures life

I'll be your hubby will you be my wife

Its 2:30 now i'm dozing to sleep

I'm sunk in this lifestream our lifestream

In my dreams this moment will forever play on repeat

I loved this poem. It was so sweet. Long distance can hurt. I know the feeling of loving someone far away and wondering what they are doing. Then you go for awhile without talking and they are still in your thoughts. Even though the distance and the silence are there it feels like your heart still beats for them knowing you will talk again. ;) xo Karma

Not even distance can define a true connection. When you know that person means something to you, where you think about them constantly, day after day even though the absence of communication.. that's how you know they mean more to you than any obstacle can hinder them to be.
