Awake

Awake

A Poem by KeeD

Feel the vibrations under skin
Blood inside follows a metronome
Pulsating electric vibes through bones
Hands start swaying on their own

To break free of this casket
rise from the vessel trapped in
In the speed of sound, drown
awake, rise, surf the rhythmic tides

Tomorrowland, the destination
A gathering, a celebration
The sun shines on turntables
the party never stops at night

High on life, truly awake
This moment is a memory
feed off the energy
the crowds been so hungry

Music is what Tycho makes
I'm Awake .....
                       So alive......
                                           Spread love to the world.

The beginning of this piece was truly music to my ears. Even without rhyming it still had a beautiful rhythm and flow. Great work!

Intriguing imagery. I'm not familiar with the band, but the poem is a great tribute. I like the driving meter or this piece.

I like this...and we can often do this to ourselves....we sleep like vampires just waiting for something to get our blood flowing again, to regain enthusiasm for life...

nicely done...

I like the analogy.
