A Girl and A Titan

She smelled the daisies 

a gust of wind swayed her hair 

to the rhythm of spring 

In an open field under the sun 

she was anxious to finally see one

There he appeared as the stories proclaimed

But he didn't have big red eyes or a huge mane 

He caught her scent from a mile away

Yet he seemed more nervous than she that day

Sitting across the field he looked her way

She was filled with intrigue

her motions were steady as her heart beat fast

she raised her hands in the air and waved at last

every expression grew louder on her face

in the presence of a titan not once did she ponder escape 

In her eyes, his was lost

She seemed brighter than a star 

in his very own universe 

He was scared that she would be fearful of his stature 

wasn't aware that it was he who she was always after

Across the fields of daises they sat 

looked at each other but never close enough to chat

it was just love expressed through their vision

the girl just really wants to feel an echo through the air 

Did he say he's just a boy

Author's Note

I've decided to write poetry on random people I see and how I envision parts of their soul. This ones about a girl name Sophy I don't know her but I read a poem of hers and she likes giants so here we go!

Thank you, it's my favourite part too, I felt the emotion of the titan from a boys perspective, how he just wants to feel loved and expressed as a normal boy, you know someone that girl would like? Not an anomaly like how everyone else saw him.
