Open WindowA Poem by KeeDSome
dreams aren't meant to be forgotten Sometimes
the pain is better left unspoken I won't
forget you even though I've been taken for granted I'm not
leaving this relationship empty handed I know
how to love, I now know how to heal from the hurt Seeking
the truth leaves the heart with a void full of dirt So it's
best to let everything go and let the tide wash away with sorrow All the
memories and the possibilities of a you and a me Life's
an open window and I've just started to look outside No more
a great divide between you and living my life I see
opportunity to be a happy me, I just might take the leap Run out
and breathe, feel free even though I miss you there Jump
fences and take chances, maybe that's what I was missing the
ability to run and never stop believing in my own capability I finally see my reflection and i'm not afraid to be me © 2014 KeeDAuthor's Note
