Garden of the deceased

Garden of the deceased

A Poem by KeeD

 photo Region7_Cemetery4_zps49c10a57.jpg

The rain poured today

The sun starts to mourn

As I placed my wife into a field of stone

The flowers don't know

My tears help them grow

will they ever bloom once more?

Time runs thin

and will eventually win

when my heart gives in

They dig a hole nice and deep

Here my body they shall keep

Awaiting eternal sleep

My cycle of life has come to end

I miss my wife, my one true friend

Into your arms, I shall ascend

from the garden of the deceased

Me too, you. Sorry to be such a stranger lately. And, always, my pleasure...
Time friend to none
eventually won
fragile and old
I withered away

really good enjoyed the read!

Thank you so much Ahena MK
Beautifully sad and soulful. The pain in this echos in every line. My favourite:
"The seeds didn't know
that my tears helped them grow"
A wonderful write
