Just a feel good poem

Acquire selfish composure

Too awkward in my own skin

Breaking through this enclosure

Trying to best the ugly within

 

I see you flutter and fly

Typical overachiever 

Reflective beauty to the eye

Making me a believer

 

Seeking the truth of existence

I acquire a pair of temporary wings

My conscience begs resistance

What does beauty truly bring

 

Created to be perfect

Always the prettiest sight

My mind filled with conflict

to vanities plight

 

Metamorphosis beckons me 

Promise to wave my insecurities goodbye

Awaken changed completely

I am absolutely obsessed with butterflies mostly because they are beautiful and has positive symbolism~ This is a great poem and the creative words art at the end made me smle~

This was a great piece Kee, a lovely title as well, so fitting. The music was really good as well, went with the write brilliantly. So many well written lines, it was touching and emotional. An little peek of our insecurities. I loved the ending, it was beautifully structured and colorful!
