The Last Star

The Last Star

A Poem by kealan
"

Poem on theme of a starless reality

"

A furious darkness is the sum of all forms.

The equity of beings from across space,

dwindling on the breaches of failed time

so dark it is violent

so real it bleeds.

We are the sayings of simple organics,

living parables

falling into the future

and the definite loss of all shine.

No sun prevails in the bitter fight with gravity.

2

Of moving parts, of used pieces spread across

the tangling multiverse

that winks our end.

Dark, dark, dark, and forever.

The last star sighs its ornamental glow

and aproaches its finallity.

It barely coughs the last of life,

the last of light

impossible to see

as the total shadow invades the space time line

and whimpers out

without much protest

void of the slightest apology

and reality simply finishes.
