Cursing Dawn, Blessing NightA Poem by I've Killed LionsIt's so dark outside, but maybe that's the way I like it, at least now i can't see my world surrounding me, in this darkness I know i can hide, I could duck under my fears, maybe I'll fit, I could avoid reality, run from truth for years, I could close my eyes, and dream everything away, but would I have to wake? would i have to come out? would i have to let truth catch me? what if I could stop the sun? If only night would last forever, but i know soon it will be done, then i will have to wait till evening's end, to run again, to tuck my self away, to dream and be free, I'll chase the dark side of the moon, I'll cover every star, to find my darkness again, I find myself in it, with the darkness I'm free, but when the sun rises I'll be in chains again.
