Silver MoonA Poem by Khalab Darnell"Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion" T.S. EliotTell me why the moon isn’t grey, As my feelings and heart as I plead you too stay. Emotions felt so long ago, As my soul cries and soaks the floor.
Tell me why I beg you too leave me, My anger and rage gashes my being. Love for her is no more, As you lay there hemorrhage with gore.
Tell me why the moon isn’t grey, For every color in this world there is a price to pay. The blue of day or the black of night, Even the grey at my grave sight.
I’ll tell you why the moon isn’t grey, Because the Galaxy saw fit for a silver bay. My words come too life as you read this page, But tell me, why do you think the moon isn’t grey? © 2012 Khalab DarnellReviews
