Dear MamaA Poem by Khalab DarnellHappy mothers day
As a hard headed youth growing up in the street,
I only had two things and that's my mama and my heat. But even when strayed from the right path, Mama always had my back, even when she whooped my a*s. I just really want to thank you because you saved me, From a life behind bars, you never played me. Even though we had different struggles, I'd lay down and die but only for my mother. When i was hurting as a little kid, You brought me joy through all the pain and tears, And there's no way I can pay you back, Just glad I got the chance too help you understand, You are appreciated.
