Lifted

Lifted

A Poem by Khalab Darnell
"

You can't reach for anything new if your hands are full of yesterdays trash -Louise Smith

"
From the depths of life,
And the Bowels of society...... I rise.
Not from ashes but from dust,
By a power within all of us.
I Rise.
Too the highest mountain and the tallest tree,
All whom have fallen will envy me.
Not for what I have,
But for what i have accomplished.
Yea i know your astonished,
A 180 turn that brought my up from the marsh pits.
So applaud me,
Don't disregard me.
Because I'm lifted to a new Level,
No help from the devil.
So much control it makes me tremble,
Yet my importance in the world is something similar to a thimble.
No need for intro,
I'm giving you a window.
Of opportunity,
To get lifted.
Grab hold cause you don't want to miss this
