Feels Like Months Skipped

Feels Like Months Skipped

A Poem by LETitBeKnown

Lonely November brought trouble

I was in no state to recognize

just before the tree's were to lose their leaves

the days wrapped around one another

in a time consuming manner

as  eyelids closed to the obvious

There he  stood so far from the unlocked door

the ghost of soft spoken words hovering vacant sheets of dark grey

visions of his  hair down with that evil glint of blood stained fangs

embedded into a web spun of death,  hope, delusion

and held without exposure  starving for more

for the taste of lips born of poison and rotting of denial

it was in the shadows that i surrendered to my own selfish desires

never expecting it to be so deadly

lonely February brings solid pain

Life is full of flaw. I can accept that. We create ourselves, but people don't see us the way we are. To you; I'm just an external image with a name. If I were to give you an internal piece of me, yo.. more..
