Remembering

A Poem by LETitBeKnown
"

Just jotting for a book I'm writing

"
I woke up last night wondering if our footprints still lied in the sand somewhere... if our marks still remained where we once ran to each other sheltered by the stars...if not washed away or replaced by  another who held no idea of the magic buried there. It was never easy walking away. I found myself gripping at the bedsheets that once held us in arms and legs. The empty space that kept me awake longing for that one breath we shared.. There was no falling back asleep...Not when I was  already dreaming.

About
Life is full of flaw. I can accept that. We create ourselves, but people don't see us the way we are. To you; I'm just an external image with a name. If I were to give you an internal piece of me, yo.. more..
