Truth Is

Truth Is

A Poem by Keenan Broad

I love you. So simple, so just. But not enough. We loved and we lost now forever we regret. In this pool of tears drowning in my head. I call out for you, my voice cracks like lips in the winter air. It's so cold in here. The love did not suffice. The tears did not mend the broken heart. I loved you, the voice calls back. I Loved you, what a tragic composition of words. As a beating heart being silenced by fate. does it end here? Will the hurt ever end? Will the love return again? I love you and you loved me.. This is our tragedy.
