A Poem by Juan Muniz

These nightmares they run across your mind,
trample over heart
and infect your soul.

Your name is tainted by the doubts that plague this home.
A cancer, rotting inside, molding you into their own image.
You do nothing...
Scream,
Shout,
Slowly wither away...
But don't let them take you, they know nothing.
Use the sword forged of dreams
Slay them, make them kneel and cower.
Only then will you open your eyes
And see my dream
A dream where I wait for you
To go to the dream we all long for
Join me in this dream , to the dream we call hope.
