Another day...

Another day...

A Poem by Juan Muniz

A minefield I am in between.
Any path I choose, is salt to the wound.
Little did I know, the surprise ahead.
A letter arrived at my feet.
Every word,  every meaning embedded into them.
It was the key to my exit.
It told me of creatures of the sky finding their place on the ground.
Telling tales of the lost being found.
A fantasy which I desired to be true
For my own ambitions that laid out this trap.
The answer was obvious,
Yet I still wonder how to get out.

* Tell me if there are any grammar issues, pacing issues.
* Also tell me what did you think is the meaning behind it!
*Another thing, I really don't know how to classify the genre so sorry if it is misleading.

I liked the meaning. Life is a minefield choosing our paths carefully, making sure to take the right steps,
It has lots of potential! Great job!
(Please read my story called The Blonde Girl. I think you would like it a lot.)
Keep up the great work!
