Slam poetry.... thoughts?

Nobody's free,

How come we can't see, 

This world full of greed, 

Money and lies,

We hear the worlds cries,

People live for the lies, 

Obsessing and messing, 

Religion and money, 

Government, society, control, 

Biggest joke is, we feed on fear, 

Media sells us our hit, we're addicted, 

When will there be peace? 

F**k money, f**k opinion, 

What are we fighting for? 

Pain and agony, 

Ignorance at its best, 

Just open your eyes, 

Death by numbers, careless sympathy, 

Advertising terror, makes us all live in fear, 

Letting hate win.

Kazmar, I liked your poem "Let hate win". The other day, I too was pondering over how the world has so much hatred and war going on. All this is a dark phase for humanity with no one sparing the little kids and women.

Why ain't we people striving to make peace even after so much of education including moral values and humanity being imbibed within us?

And here I came across your poem describing its so because we live in fear and letting the hate win.

My purpose to describe my muse here in the comment section is that at times, I get the answers from my fellow friends here. So here's extending a hearty thanks for sending me the read request.

I agree. New generation see only death and war.

This pome is oh so true of the society which we live and mingle in today. It sure is a mixed up world, mny people falling prey to the media and the likes. Its a hard hitting poem which has been written with anger in its lines.

This is such a realistically written composition. Indeed peace is the thing that is missing from the world. One must find the strength and courage to spread love and harmony among fellow humans and " not let the hate win". Nice reading it :)
