Are my words silent, Can't you hear my voice, Am I that invisible, Can't you see my tears, Am I so insignificant, What am I to you, Can't you feel me, I'm touching your hand, Even if I scream, You still won't hear me, If I stand in your way, You still won't see me, If I tell you what you are to me, Will that make a difference, Will you fix all the brokenness, That I've become, I can't feel, I'm so numb, I just want to run away, Disappear, At least it will make sense then, Why you don't hear me, Why you don't see me, Maybe then I'll mean something, When I'm gone, If only for a little while, Maybe you'll miss me, Or maybe I'll find where I belong.
you seem to be very frustrated.. you have a lot going on it seems, in your life and writing will help you. this poem is very coarse in showing what is going on with you. good work.. very truthful, and raw.. and I hope it helped you feel better after you wrote it.
these are words of a heart that has been left by her beloved... there is painful feeling of separation in it and how the poet felt it... we all go through some kind of phase of like this, where the person we give all our heart leaves us, we feel broken inside and we feel like the person don't understand or care about us anymore, our pain don't really matter to them... the ending really touched me where you said maybe that person will miss us when we are gone or maybe we find the right place where we belong.... beautifully done dear poetess.... full ratings....
Life is fair. When we lose someone. They become truly missed.
"When I'm gone,
If only for a little while,
Maybe you'll miss me,
Or maybe I'll find where I belong."
Separation does create need and yearning for another person missed. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

Being creative allows me to construct or describe the world, through my own eyes. It has always been a part of who I am.
There have been times in my life where I've felt disconnected, lost and not k.. more..
