Feelings

Pacing through the night,
Under the dim December moonlight.
Our shadows following close behind,
These emotions inside are in a bind.
There's not a day that passes by,
That I'm not thinking of why,
I'm hiding these emotions behind a dense drape.
But these feelings, they still try to escape.
Love's odds are in reverse,
And yet it feels like we're the only one's in this universe.
How I wish there's an easier way to say,
But there seems to be no other way.
The moment you turned towards me,
I've been foolish enough not to see.
That there wasn't the slightest of chance,
For me and you to be confined in love's dance.
Not having enough time to cope,
There goes all hope.
Pondering about why I developed these things,
And how you classified these as just feelings.
