Beginning To EndA Poem by K
Making my way through the city,
Intoxicated and dizzy. City lights, illuminating the dark night. Your actions imposed a certain fright. My limbs and gut's aching, Yet still I continue my steady pacing. You thought I wasn't aware of your antics. Lessons I've learned from previous romantics. When you finally said the truth, I didn't act frantic, But deep down inside, I was screaming for a medic. The feelings you've showed me was all pretend. And I had to live with it from beginning to end. © 2017 KAuthor's Note
