It Came...

It Came...

A Poem by Kay Salisu Titilola
"

.....

"
It came so quick like a dream
as if nothing ever happened.
Only to be left with memories
too vague to be understood.

Somethings we can't control. Sometimes we must learn to accept. Thank you, Kay, for sharing the amazing poetry.

how clear and concise such it is

there is no knowledge of time in a dream
uncontrolled foggy recall
leaving many questions

your imagination guides your pen well my friend
your offerings give such deep thought to the reader rather than wham bam thank you mam!
with such write i know you are well

Has the sound of some profound experience, the nature of which is not specified. Whatever it was, the memory remains in the speaker's consciousness. One can only hope it was not traumatic. Then we might be looking at PTSD.

I am left pondering, but also admiring this fine piece of brevity. It is good to let the reader ponder rather than giving answers. Thank you Kay. Hope all is well with you dear poet.

and I woke, never having slept...and didn't remember a thing.
clever four lines of brevity here...
allows us leeway to ponder.
