Beware!

Beware!

A Poem by Kay Salisu Titilola
"

....

"
An atmosphere of racism,
world of religious supremacy,
a place of tribal segregation,
a nation where liaison is long forgotten,
people divided in fierce hatred,
hungry, angry with desperateness,
men driven to the wall by power,
deprived of all rights to survive,
ask me where chaos and war resides,
and I'll show you these paths of life.

Boom. Hit me like a freight train. Everything you said was powerful and true. There is pain there. But in sharing you, you can create strength by bringing injustice to light. It would make for great spoken word. Maybe consider sharing it with a friend out loud? I think they'd appreciate it too. Keep writing.

Thank you, Eddie.
Anger and hate is a deadly combo. That kills compassion and love.

When will we understand people are not bodies with a spirit but Spirits that live in clay 🛖 huts. No two exactly the same until you see who lives within.
Kay what you said is powerful and true. My prayer is we will Learn to see past our outer differences and see the beauty each person has.

We live in a fractured world sadly and some parts of the world have far more problems than others. We should all be more tolerant, there is so much that unites us and yet we look for division. A powerful write Kay.

Every line of this one is a hard hitting indictment. Many lands could be described here, but one must assume it is the poet's homeland. May things improve for the better, and soon.

Hello my friend. You and I know. The cause of religion had killed many and most wars are caused by religion.
Like in Israel. Once Arabs and Jews. Lived and worked together. Now men of religion want to erase a people. I wish I had the answer my friend. Outstanding and worthwhile poetry shared Kay.
