The Highway of LifeA Poem by Kay Salisu Titilola...
On the highway of life,
we travel from end to end, either with the speed of light, or like snail in the ocean depth. We all aiming for a price, that not everyone will get. But still were striving hard to make the biggest difference. Here we are in a jumbled wild, Where irony has gone insane. The strong might fall down flat, Where the feeble make a change. The rich wants the peace of mind, While the poor wants the race. The balance lies where it lies somewhere beyond our gaze. Nevertheless, despite it all, Whether you are tall or even short, Black or white, Indian or color. Whether you're rich or you're poor, live on the street, in mansion or hut. Life is ever submissive to no one. We can't stop what is meant to be, We are only keep trying to avoid it. © 2021 Kay Salisu TitilolaAuthor's Note
