My Hope

My Hope

A Poem by Kay Salisu Titilola
"

...

"
My Hope.

From my young age,
I've been dreaming,
Having visions,
Of the future.

With today's pain,
I've been grinning,
Knowing friction,
Assist mission.

Though the rough way,
Could be greasy,
But I won't stop,
Never give up.

I know one day,
I will be free,
When my dreams come,
To completion.

The speaker seems to be one who has goals but has not yet been able to realize them. There seems to be some difficulty at present, but I sense a determination that won't quit.

That's it, John.
Thank you very much.
This is a wonderful poem with a powerful message, but I believe you should be be and feel free anyway even before your dreams come to completion. Life is a beautiful spiritual journey despite the negative aspects of society. We are all here, as divine beings, for a wonderful purpose as decreed by Our Creator.

Thank you so much for your kind words, Li.
You have used very tight verse here which conveys a sort of tension, anxiety, but you inject it with words that convey the hope you feel as you strive to reach your goals.

There are many ways to portray future hopes, and yours is up there with my own personal favourite from the archives of all human knowledge.... To infinity and beyond, toy story 😀

not a problem sir...
Never give up on your dreams and when the going gets tough, cling on to them with every last ounce of your energy. So much feeling in these lines Kay.

Hope is a beautiful thing. The poem itself is simply put with good rhythm and a strong message. I like your attitude.

Thank you so much, R.J.
I really appreciate your kind review.
I understand what you're saying here, Kay. Your thoughts come across well. I too have always been a dreamer and yet from a contrarian point of view, a pragmatist.
My belief is dreams only die when the host body dies, and even then they can continue on through others.

A good write.
