PERFECT IMPERFECTION

PERFECT IMPERFECTION

A Poem by Kay Salisu Titilola
"

Never allow life to keep you down.

"

Light is meaningless without darkness.

Best wouldn't have existed without worst.

As love can never be felt without hatred,

So as mountain can never form without a drastic eruption.

Beauty is meant as an advanced ugliness.

Good would have been myth without evil.

Success and failure work in togetherness.

To get to the acme, you have to start from the base.

No shortcut gives the full details of your life journey,

It’ll always make you skip what your life needs the most.

Most of the time it could be destructive,

Or even derail your journey towards a frustrating road.

Challenges are meant to keep the mind on motion,

With experiences to brightening it up

Suffering teaches how to find joy.

And, pain reveals the way to pleasure.

Success is not a hand free game.

You have to struggle hard to get it.

And, failure shouldn't mark the end of the race.

You should try to realize your weaknesses through it.

Life appreciates effort if you won’t give it up,

You can only make it through those difficulties.

The greater your strife, the greater your outcome,

Nothing good ever comes so easily.

Beautiful imagination with dedicated action,

Can be the ladder out of your present challenges.

Wipe away your tears; go down to God in prayers.

And you will see that, that frustration isn't the end.

This is a poem full of love, truth and hope. It's optimistic. It's relatable. Within each stanza (paragraph) there is a valuable precious piece of advice for every one of your readers.

This is the stanza that connects with me based on my mistakes and past errors, lessons learned and wisdom gained:

'No shortcut gives the full details of your life journey;
it'll always make you skip what your life needs the most.
Most of the time it could be destructive,
or even derail your journey towards a frustrating road.'

Well done!!!
