Phoenix

Phoenix

A Poem by Kayli

Abandonment, loneliness
Different, yet all the same
Selfishness and spite
will soon forget
the names
Destroyed and burned
by supposed mental gains,
Risen from the ashes
No longer the same
Now stronger than the victor
A new sense a vigor
All stood still, yet nothing remained
The original victor-
Now in disdain.
