Dreamtown

Dreamtown

A Poem by Kayli
"

Generically titled. But, you get my drift.

"
Welcome to Dreamtown
The lights are always bright
and shining, illuminating
the life. The people,
they are free,
like the birds
that fly over the sea.
Their thoughts
-Unpredictable,
Freely spoken
with words
that were so very
well chosen.
Welcome to Dreamtown,
where the wicked and weary
don't exist...
Baring not two
but one perspective
A world without balance
is only destined to become
amiss.

I like the concept of this. If the dreamer were to see the obstacles of real life and not the perfect scenarios manufactured by an inexperienced and naive imagination, those who are wicked would suddenly bring into light the real world in which we live. The last three lines are very true.

Great writing

You're welcome, I've thought about the topic a lot as I've gotten older.

Amazing piece.
Dreamtown appears a perfect entity.
However,it is interesting to note that,"A world without balance
is only destined to become amiss."
