Dedicated again to my Ex Jonathan William Wood. This is pretty much how he acted after our break up. I wrote this poem shortly after that event to represent my memory of it...

Leave Me Here, To Die

You've made me feel like you don't care
when I always cared for you
I thought you would always care
but always never lasts
now I feel like nothing
like I'm wasting away
without you here by my side
and it kills me
to know I can't do anything about it
people try to help me
but no one can help me now
so just leave me here to burn
because I don't care what happens to me anymore
and maybe if I burned
you would then hopefully care
but there are no guarantees to anything
so for everyone who try’s to help
get your hands off me
and leave me here to die
because inside
I'm already dead

I chose the picture that I have because the maiden seems to represent me, the wolf pup beside her representing our unborn daughter, and the full grown wolf representing Jonathan and how he pretty much turned away from me completely for so long after our break up...
