Hope

Hope

A Poem by Kayleigh Holt
"

A small insight to how my life working with Hope has changed my outlook on life.

"
A girl of only age six,
Hope runs, plays, laughs, and sings.

A girl with great mental and physical strength,
Hope is never a pushover.

A girl who voices what she wants,
Hope almost always gets her way.

A girl with smiley eyes,
Hope radiates warmth and genuineness.

A girl I have been working with for a year,
Hope is my best friend.

A girl who loves caring for her "babies,"
Hope will never be able to have any of her own.

A girl with Down's syndrome,
Hope inspires those around her every moment.

The repetitiveness has a purpose! This is my first poem on here, very open to helpful critiques. Thank you so much!

Tells us a story of a child who is winning the battles of life. I think the repetitive mess helps to understand the meaning of the poem too... A very good write containing a story of life of an inspiring little girl...

Sincerely
Dhiman
