The Middle Man

The Middle Man

A Poem by youngpoet98

The middle man lives in a dark corner of space

Contemplating the universe

And planning his escape

The fortune teller’s silence

Gives him glimpses of no hope

He sighs a different sigh that even demons won’t promote

His heart is large but sad

 And loneliness but a key

To understand his pain is something that could never be

The middle man has dreams

Of someday maybe being free

The middle man is someone that is closer than you think
