Saying Sorry (Chapter 3)

' "No lucky" I hear myself yell but all I see is her walking fast down a dark hallway. "Please...Please come back" I hear myself whispering now. "....Rein...Rein?" I hear my name. I look up to My fat-a*s math teacher Mr.smith giving me the f*****g what-the-hell-are-you-sleeping-in-my-class-for/whats-the-anwser-to-this-stupid-math-question-you'll-never-use-in-your-life-but-i'll-pretend-like-you'll-need-to-just-so-I-can-get-paid-my-low-a*s-teacher-salary. "Ummm....6?" I say. I hear the class giggle, but I'm focused on that dream I just had. The same dream I keep having...ever since that day...'

 

4:15 p.m. 10-15-08

 

Lydia,

    Today I made a new friend. Her name is Kate. She used to friends with Lucky until she found out about the you know...Lucky being Les. Well, she doesn't really care now. She's gotten over it. Which is good. She's pretty much my height. She has long blonde hair and hazel eyes. She's really cool. I like her. Not like that. But yea as a friend. She knows about me and Lucky. At first she was like "Who is Lucky?" and so I had to explain. Yea so anyway! She's really cool. Today is actually her birthday! She is turning 17. She invited me and Lucky and Josh to a party that she's throwing. She told me she likes Josh. So here we go. I guess I know what my job will be at the party. GETTING THEM TOGETHER! Lucky is coming over to get ready and help me pick out what to wear. I will write you when I get back...If I do...

' "Rein, I'm right here." Lucky whispered. My body was shakeing and I couldn't open my eyes. What was going on? I heard this insanely annoying beeping noise and people talking. When I opend my eyes I had tubes going in my arms and needles everywhere. "What happend?" I asked, barely above a whisper. " Rein, you...you're not okay." Her eyes filled with tears and as I looked at her again they over flowed. She fell to her knees and held onto my hand. "What do you mean Lucky?" I said, my eyes now filling with tears. "I'm fine, why am I here? I remember seeing you...Walking away. Down a dark hallway. I couldn't stop you. You just kept walking. Why? Why did you leave me Alexis?" I let go of her hand and looked away. 'She left me' I thought. That's why I'm here. It wasn't a dream...It was real. " Rein, please listen to me." I ripped the needles and tubes out of me and got up. I ran for the door. People stared and I heard Lucky calling my name. Her voice fading and my footsteps getting louder.'

    The party was great. Josh was there and him and Kate hung out. Actually, they made out. Yes, of course, 7 minutes in heaven was played. As usual  I sat out. Lucky did too. For that I was thankful. I asked her if she would like to play and she said that she hated the game and was with me so she, for sure, did not want to play. I usually know if Lucky is lieing and tonight, I couldn't tell. She's hard to read sometimes. Anyway, Kate and Josh hooked up. Me and Lucky spent the night together at the party. She's over now but only for a little while. After she leaves i'm going to sleep. I'll tell you everything later. By the way, Here's what I look like.
