The Question

The Question

A Poem by Kayla_May
"

i have no clue why this came out of my mind. but i think its an ok write.

"

Love is the question

who will say yes?

My bets better

than anyone’s guess.

Who will step forward to take me by

my hand.

Could it be a man that comes and goes?

Who leaves my heart;

scattered and thrown on the ground.

Will he really care?

Would he leave me there?

On that special day. . .

Broken at the alter

leaving me to shed tears

on my white silloute?

As I kneel on the ground

he would tell me how

he could never love

someone who’s filled

with so much

hate.

So this is my fate.

Never meant to have a love.

I knew it was to good to be true.

I hated my self;

my self worth

I have NONE.

How could you love someone that hates themselves?

You can’t

its entirely impossible.

I lost my love

he’s never to return.

Because I was lost behind my

painful; hateful force field

that pushed him away.

My love was not enough.

I lie on my bed

listening to my heartbeat,

do you think if it stopped

he would miss me?

This is so sadly beautiful... tender... honest... filled with a sense of love and loss.. A heart shared with longing, yet covered in pain... Powerful...
