God's Love

Rain is like the love of God,

Flowing down in sheets of silver over the Earth.

God is unlike the leaves of Falls;

for He is never changing.

God is like the shining sun; bright

His heart, filled with warmth.

God is like the beauty of every day's dawn;

And his embrace is the darkness;

we see as the night.

 

God is the one who always listens;

He speaks silently to our hearts.

He opens our minds to see the marvelous things

The life, the love, the lost.

Life is the most beautiful gift,

God could ever give.

If everyone could see that, then life,

Would fully be lived.

Well the first line right off the bat grabbed me cause I just love the rain... natures itself is like a miracle all around us and a gift from God to always remind us that the simple things in life are the most precious. What a beautifully inspirational poem.
