Let's Not Wait Until This is All Over

Inspired by the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic...

In every nation

The year 2020 was proclaimed

But the year we thought would burn so brightly

Suddenly grew dim

Thousands fell

Many at our sides

Leaving fear in our hearts

Possible calamity on our minds

Yet with kindness and patience

Doctors and nurses tended for us

For their advice and care

Thank yous are barely enough

There’s a lesson in their giving

To not just see yourself but see others too

What they do regularly

We can all make an effort to do
