The Imperfect You

The Imperfect You

A Poem by Kayats

Can’t cover your flaws with that makeup

Don’t dream, it’s time wake up and make up your mind

You cannot be crushed, if you believe in yourself

But no rush, just don’t stop moving

No ones’ going to blame you

You didn’t come out of the blue

You were there, when they needed you, being part of their emotion

Though I can’t change their notion

It’s alright at the end of the day

It’s you, you the imperfect you.

Hiding in the corner of the room and crying won’t help

Sitting in the dark won’t make any difference

Just more ignorance

Come out! In the light, no more cries

No more fights, I promise

You won’t miss anything no more

There is nothing wrong in being imperfect

Because imperfection is beauty

And it’s your duty, you got to prove it right

The perfectly imperfect you.
