Heart of Gold

Heart of Gold

A Poem by A Glow in the Pit of My Soul

I was recently told
that it was a beautiful,
beautiful thing,
whenever I cry --

because in those raw moments,
at my most bare and vulnerable,

is when the Passion
burning deep within my heart
glows brightest
to even those without sight.

I love how you can beautifully write simple & straight forward poems, and also poems overflowing with imagery and metaphors. So talented.
