TRUST

TRUST

A Story by DarkStar
"

A short monologue about trust. I think it comes under "Story" but please correct me if I'm wrong.

"
Once trust is broken it can never be reclaimed, not completely, not in the way it once was. Even when the person didn’t mean to break your trust. It’s still broken. They still broke it. And the accidental breaking of trust, by someone you care deeply for. That then leaves you not trusting of them, also leaves you feeling guilty for not trusting them. I feel guilty for their actions. They didn’t mean it to hurt anyone, and they deserve to be trusted. But still, after what they did, I just can’t. It’s not so simple. So now I doubt you, a little, in everything you do. Even when I know I shouldn’t. I don’t know how to repair that trust. Tell me because I need to know, I need to believe I can regain the trust I once had for you. I need to be able to trust, I need to be able to trust, you again.
