I've told my story

I've told my story

A Poem by DarkStar
"

Just a thing and some words, that maybe might mean something.

"
I've told my story so many times,
I often forget that it is even mine.
Opening up is in my nature,
The easiest ones to tell a stranger.
When you know how the story ends,
It's then that we become friends.
It's then I'll close up I no long talk,
I'll be damned if I get caught.
Protection, Survival, That is my aim,
I mean not to cause you with the blame.
But when past mistakes leave me open.
I come to think, the words are better, unspoken.

DarkStar, what a name. Reminds me of something someone used to call me. I like this poem. I wish I had something better to say but I really don't.
