I woke up and it didn't hurt,

I was confused for a second,

Forgot.

It hit back hard,

When I remembered,

Intense.

Give me a few, let it settle,

Welcome it back home,

Why not.

Pain is my part of who I am,

The mask to hide behind, my

Defence.
