People tell you they hear voices

People tell you they hear voices

A Poem by DarkStar

People tell you they hear voices,
Telling them what to do.
Clear instructions of murder and messages,
Only visible to you.

I have never heard a voice.
No clear message from above.
I have heard scrambled noises,
Random jibberish, withdrawn of love.

They don't tell me to do anything,
They just don't want me to...life.
Distraction, misdirection,
An age old inner strife.

I talk to myself also,
Does that make me mad?
I have very few friends just to top it of,
Maybe I'm just sad?

Tell me honestly, before I loose it,
How can I be seen as sane.
When a entire world of garbled nonsense,
Lives alight in my brain.
