Life is Art

Colors often correlate with an emotion or a characteristic. Our lives are a work of art, and it is our duty to paint the best piece we can with what we have.

Red is for passion and love, 

like a lady in a red dress out on a date with her love.

Orange is for spontaneity and shock,

like riding a new roller coaster for the first time.

Yellow is for joy and liveliness,

like a favorite song being played at a party.

Green is for creativity and growth,

like a dancer performing their best piece on stage.

Blue is for serenity and peace,

like a still lake at night reflecting the moon on its surface.

Indigo is for expression and desire,

like a hopeless romantic searching for their soul mate.

Violet is for intelligence and compassion,

like a best friend who always has the best advice.

My life is a white canvas,

and I am the painter working on my masterpiece.

Author's Note

I am a creative person at heart, and I thought it'd be fun to pair the colors of the rainbow with characteristics, and at the same time, the colors with some of my favorite things to experience.
